Stuck searching for the Mortal Shell 2 Mushroom Village Key? You are not alone. The Shrine of Trials hides many secrets, and this key is easy to miss if you sprint past the enemies.
To find the key, head toward the bonfire where the dancing hags gather. Clear out these threats first so you do not take unnecessary damage. The hags attack quickly in groups, so draw them out one at a time. Once the camp is clear, inspect the shadowed ground near the edge of the clearing. The key rests on a hidden corpse tucked just off the main dirt trail.
Grabbing this key allows you to unlock closed gates around the settlement. Behind these doors, you will discover rare upgrade materials, useful healing items, and crucial shortcuts. Opening these paths makes your run through the Shrine of Trials much safer and eliminates tedious backtracking.
The video walkthrough above shows the exact path from the nearest checkpoint. Watch the route, dodge the ambushes, and claim your key in just a few minutes.
